Sisters...

Having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of. You know whatever you do, they'll still be there.

To: Sue, Ade, Leslie, Cassi, Joni, Cammi, Nikki

Sisters are one of life's many treasures, ones that are taken advantage of, but still there when life falls apart. They are molded so nothing surprises them. They know how to fight back when someone has upset them and they no how to apologize when they have done wrong. When mom and dad don't understand, a sister always will. A dedication to my sisters, wishing we all could be together.

VAY-KAY...

So on sunday we drove up to calgary with intentions to see Aerosmith live and ZZ Top opening up for him. After driving the streets of calgary getting some what lost we found our destination. The concert was at 4pm and we arrived at 3:40pm to an empty parking lot. So we had to make phone calls after phone calls and find out what was happening. We found out Aerosmith rescheduled and it will not be until later in november. So we (chantel and I) decided to make a VAY-KAY out of it. I know calgary is not that far but we decided to stay the night and just have fun in calgary. I was driving and if anyone has driven with me I sing and dance at the top of my lungs while in the drivers seat. So i was just enjoying my time away for work. We both work at St. Therese Villa and love our nursing jobs, so us going to calgary was a vacation to us. So we hit three malls and spent about $400 dollars alone in lulu lemon, and once again if anyone knows me they know that lulu's are my passion as well. I own a lot of them. it is an addiction. Then we decided to hit up Flames Central and walk the streets of down town calgary. it was pretty. They had Christmas lights already up and and we decided to start snapping pictures. We then checked into our hotel and decided to hit up a movie. We went to the Famous Players Theater and watch Couples Retreat, then returned to our hotel room and had some dancing and then we crashed. I was the first asleep but how ever i worked saturday morning from 7am-3pm and then return back at work at 11pm that night and worked till 7am. Then when i arrived home after worked we showered and headed to calgary so i was a tired girl. The next morning we hit up two more malls and a country decor store that i love and headed home to be a work for 3pm. It is a fun adventure and was able to snap these shots......... Enjoy

So it is november.......

So it is november.... i guess i was right when i said it was going to be november before a new post. Well i am officially becoming a Nursing ... I fell in love with my job and have learned so much i am completely passionate about my job.... each day at my job is a challenge, excitement, fast, on going learning, but all in all it is an absolute life changing job. I love being able to be in someone's life and knowing i am doing everything possible to ensure each-day comes. I experience death numerous times and I cant wait until i can experience the birthing as well... As for love life. it is going... I have met tons of amazing people and have gone on dates but i enjoy them being in my life as my friends for now, i am just so busy with work and school i just like to have them to turn to when i need fun instead of adding to my list.... i know it is a dumb way to look at it but i am giving my job my all as i know it will be rewarding... I guess that is really all. i am still working out, not as intense as i used to but i am still shedding the pounds.....

For some reason I decide to leave months between each post, and i apologize, but at the rate i am going you will get your next update in november. I am on a weekend away in Kalispel, Montana. It is a lot of fun and I am enjoying the shopping. It just does not get any better than states shopping. But I also have enjoyed the weather, For the last two months I have been Running and working out in the freezing cold of the great white north. However today I strapped on my running shoes and hit the running path near some baseball diamonds and started to sweat just from the heat. I enjoyed it needless to say. Something about children laughing, sun beaming, and a open path is exactly what I needed.  I have found my greatest stress relief just from working out. I have a great friend Brittany who also loves to run and we put the Ipods in our ears and run together, stopping to laugh at each other or pushing each other to keep going. If any of you can picture it i often crank my Ipod and start to dance right in the middle of the path and brittany does not shy away, she smiles and jumps on in. It has been truly great to have the pleasure of having her more involved in my life. I also am enjoying my job and have some eye candy, that I have been hanging out with and have enjoyed the company of him as well. It is crazy how life can feel so simple and blissful, but for some reason extremely stressed.

Still alive....

So i survived the first 24 hours of Colby being gone. Everything seemed to be fine. We sure did text the whole time he drove. I guess i never knew i could multitask as much as i did yesterday. I was able to complete my work and text to him to make sure he made it to Utah safe. HE DID. I was really excited to know that he missed me and home but i also don't want him to feel like that. This is a great opportunity for him to be down there and i know he will make the best of it. But i will be going down in 14 days to see him and let me tell you the count down is on!!!

And hes off..........

Well today was the day that Colby packed up his things and started the long journey to Salt Lake to go to school. He is attending the LDS Business college to achieve his associates degree and then in which he will return to Lethbridge to finish two years in Criminal Justice, upon graduation he will then set foot in to the work force in either Regional Police or Boarder Patrol. He has got the drive to make the big bucks but yes he has some sacrificing to do right now in order to achieve that. I had to say my goodbyes to him yesterday as he came up to Lethbridge and we finished some shopping and purchased him a computer. I felt as if i was back in school and i was busy scrambling through out the school looking for whatever was on that list. By the end of the night i was fighting those tears back, every now and then he would catch one run down my face and he would say Babe, everything is going to be alright. This is a happy time not a sad, i will see you in two weeks. If i had a nickel for every time i heard that yesterday i would be rich. To tell you the truth i don't think two weeks will pass soon enough. So here i am at work trying to not think about it, but i got thinking this is alittle better circumstances then what i went through on his mission. At least i can call him and go and see him. That is what will get me through this trial. Cause i do believe channings undying faith is being tested.
